Hi! I'm Elaine, and I like mingling with strangers... sometimes the stranger the better.
This is my blog http://trytoremaincalm.blogspot.com/
(please be aware there are sexual references from time to time and other mundane stuff.
I found you through http://hollywoodflakes.blogspot.com/
which I found elsewhere, but I'm losing track and far from home...
er...
coolest scar is a little one at the centre of my forehead, which i got playing kiss chase at 5-- was lookin gbehind me to make sure the boy would catch me, but he ended up having to take me to a teacher covered in blood instead. He held my hand tho so I didn't mind.
Please feel free to read my blog, tag me, comment, whatever.... if you don't like my posts you might like some of my links. :)

Thanks, Elaine. I've had this page up for almost a year and nobody has ever signed in. You'd think I would have taken it down but I had a sweet little feeling you'd come along one day and validate me!

My name is jenny
my webpage is baby-leah.blogspot.com
I am your cousin, so I got your website off of Benac.com
My coolest scar is on my foot. In fifth grade I got a planter's wart on my foot and got to miss school to have laser surgery. Then we went to taco bell...I remember that detail because we never ate out when I was a kid.
I'm browsing your website right now because I've been on hold with an airline for 25 minutes and needed to occupy my time.
Another random thing about me: I'm still wearing pajamas and its 1:30 in the afternoon. This happens all the time.

you are sooooo funny! love the humor, sad to find out Precious Moments are on your ehat list. my friend holly told me about you, we're both huge fans of your valentine post. peace.

Bubbles (my code name - the real one is topsecret!!)
Found through MMW
Scar - my eternal smile across my abdomen from birthing 2 babies via c-section. I can't remember where the rest of them came from.
Love your blog - you are hilarious - especially your post about what you (as a prego mom) see vs. what everyone else see. Classic!

Hullo. My name is Colleen and I use it as my screen name everywhere because it's semi-unique. I just started a blog yesterday. It's at www.jeremyharker.com/family. I found you from your Christmas card. (Which was awesome, by the way). My coolest scar is on my left thigh. It's about four inches long. I got it from spinning on a swing - you know, when you'd twist up the chains and then let go? There was a rouge screw sticking out somewhere. Not pretty. Love your blog. I check it almost daily now. Forgive me if I borrow inspiration from you now and again.

I found you through: hollywoodflakes.blogspot.com

My coolest scar is probably my magnolia tattoo.

I just turned 38 and really don't feel like it. I also have a really hot firefighter for a boyfriend. I guess he keeps me young and happy.

It's my friend Marie's fault that I found this site (she won a contest a little while back and linked to your site to show off), and I've been lurking here ever since. This is her (Marie's) blog:
http://asittingonagate.blogspot.com/
...and this is mine, just recently started (since I gotta be like everyone else and have one, right?):

My name is, believe it or not, wynne. And I have too many scars. (I was mauled by a bear when I was four, and actually, I find it difficult to talk about scarring.)

Okay, not really. I do get mauled by my cat on a regular basis. He thinks I taste good.

My name is Bethany, and this is my confession. I didnt know where else to turn, so here goes.
I am your sister and so you may think that you know me, but instead of the gooey sweetness I am sure you suppose is on my insides, I am instead wicked, through and through. I didnt realize this until I was sitting here at the kitchen table innocently enough and I heard a rustle from the office, my hand quickly threw my apron (that i wore while spending four hours cleaning the kitchen, and then recaulking the countertops) over my secret stash of chocolate. this is by no means innocent. You see, I put myself on a budget, my husband doesnt really care and he thinks it is cute that i am giving myself limits so he plays along. anyhow sorry, I put myself on a budget but for the last few weeks have felt a familiar itch i feel once a year or so, and the other day while ordering a wedding present for a girl i just met at work, decided to make my move. I downgraded her from the 70 dollar conisseur collection of chocolate that i planned to give her (she really loves chocolate and a kitchen aid is too much for someone you have only known a few weeks)andyhow, I downgraded her to the thirty five dollar mothers day chocolate collection and spent the difference on myself for a sublime little 2X5 inch box! I charged it on my husbands debit card since he knew i was getting a wedding gift, and overnighted my portion of the chocolate in from new york yesterday!
when it arrived today, i was on the phone celebrating a friends new job and carelessly invited her over to have a piece, instantly i regretted it and made and excuse to hang up and told her i was busy for the rest of the day.
The rest of the day went down like this: During my cleaning spree, i would occasionally put down my bleach spattered apron and walk quietly into the front room and have one piece, or six. the box is only about 2 inches by 5 and the pieces are tiny but this was thirty dollars for the box and another 15 to ship it.
Anyhow, my husband came home and i made sure he knew what a darling little wife i am and what good selfless work i have been about all day. i tried to put the chocolate away, i did. but i knew it was on the table and that if he found it, he would eat one or two pieces at a time, without even considering the delicate flavors of the chocolate and rosehip tea ganache topped with candied rose petals, or the delicate pistache with white chocolate ganache with pistachios, lavender, and herbs de provence.
so, i have sent him to take out the garbage a few times, or get me a glass of water all so that i could slip my hand into that tiny box and eat one incredible piece after another. There are only about ten left, and i will take down the person who asks me to share..... does this make me a bad person?

oh, and i have a rainbox scar on my right big toe from when my foot got stuck in the track of a treadmill and tried to take my toe off in preschool.

HELP ME ! I AM BECOMING VERY VERY GREEDY!

Just a follow up.... I moved the chocolates into the paid bills drawer and now, after just 24 hours, my fifty dollar chocolates are gone. AND I DIDNT SHARE ONE PIECE!!

I'm Eve

I have a scar on my right shoulder blade from a surfing accident in Hawaii.

I found your blog from perusing the neighborhood and bumping into you but I don't remember through who. I was going through my "I miss living in CA phase" I'm almost over it.
I like your style of humor.

Your name: I'm Dawn, from A Homemaking Journey, shared with Shiloah Baker. www.ahomemakingjourney.com. Shiloah loves your site, so we linked to it on ours and I was cleaning house a few weeks ago and thought I would stop by. I love your blog!

My coolest scar is about 13 inches long that runs vertically down my belly. I had an 8lb ovarian cyst removed when I was 14. Kind of hard to tell people it WAS a cyst and not a baby!

Between Shiloah and myself we have 12 kids, and yet we still find time to goof off on the internet....of course it's 1:33 a.m....but it's quiet, and I'm alone!

Hi! I am Doris and have just recently discovered blogging and am becoming addicted. (that sounds like an intro at an AA meeting, but oh well).

I (gasp) do not have a blog, so alas no webpage to post..maybe soon since I am getting inspired.

I found your blog from (follow me now...) starting at Tales from the Crib and then Dandelion Mom (she is providing the give-away for the month) and then her link to LDSWomenBlogs and then I randomly chose to view yours (there are a TON on there!. I now noticed that Dandelion Mom has your link as well.

That being said, after cruising your blog, I realized that we are neighbors as I live in Pasadena and after looking through the blue book found out that you are indeed in the So Pas ward. Too funny.

We (my 3 year old son and 11 month old daughter) are at the Arboretum frequently, so maybe we'll run into you there.

Also, TftCarrie from the Tales blog is in my ward...it's so weird how I keep finding all these bloggers are somehow connected.

Oh...and no scars.

OK How i found your sight - from a friend's recommendation.
And I have no blog - and no knowledge on how to even make one - and mostly not enough motivation to learn - I'd rather read yours:-)
Scar: Ok, I have a chickpox scar on my forehead - it's small and only I notice it - But I was thinking - my type of scar will indeed be a rarity with most kids never having to have CP! I wouldn't have the scar too, if I could have only listened to my Mom's plee to STOP PICKING the scabs! I am so glad I don't have to be a mommy to kids with the pox! - keep up the good work

Hi, I'm Gale. My blog is at http:fairygrandmother.blogspot.com
I found you through Mormon Mommy Wars. I love your humour and your take on life and raising kids.
My cool scar is on my nose. I fell over a month ago and hit the house wall with my face, giving myself two black eyes, scraped my forehead, took a chunk out of my nose, tore ligaments in my hand and bruised my leg. All that's left of that little lot is a scar on my nose.

Welcome, Ladies! Thanks for popping by. I've linked up those of you with blogs and winced at these scar stories! Gale, yours sounds particularly traumatic. Nothing worse than a face wound.

I'm Kathy

http://balancedmommy.blogspot.com/

Found you through a BlogHer ad on my own blog

I have a scar on my right foot from cutting it while inner tubing down the Guadelupe River in San Antonio during business school.

Love your writing style.

OOOOOO, you're so funny, I linked you to my new blog! http://diversifiedbeeson.blogspot.com/
Found you on MMW.
I have a tiny scar in the center of my forehead. When I was 8 months old, I got up on my hind legs for the first time, ran acrss the room, and crashed headlong into the corner of the 1860 rocking chair. It wasn't injured.

I have a prominent and mysterious scar of substantial insignificance, yet it weighs on me heavily.

Very mysterious, Piper. Did aliens invade your body through a tiny hole they drilled in your forehead? Did you get stabbed on the rear by tiny hamsters while trying to use the bathroom in the dark and have since become petrified to use the can? The possibilities are endless.

My name is Liz.

I enjoy blog-hopping (shhh, don't tell anyone)
I don't have my own blog, simply because I'm trying to be the last person on earth without
one.

I found you through MMW. Love your Blog!

My best scar is on my knee, still healing infact.
I tripped and fell on the sidewalk er, I mean I was
rock climbing up the canyon, and my rope gave way....and I ended up with 15 stitches.

Do emotional scars from my mother count?

Hey Hey! I'm Caroline and I found you because I BLOG-HOP. (I have to say it like that because I have a little addiction problem. . .to blog-hopping that is) Anyways, I could be found at http://thebinghambabes.blogspot.com

And my best scar is from when my mean cousin hit me on the head with a garden hoe. It's not so much a scar as an indentation on my skull...but I tease my hair so it's not a problem. hmmm. I'm gonna stop typing now!

Liz, emotional scars are the best kind because they never fade. Good for your mom.

Caroline, I have this weird urge to rub my finger on your skull dent simply because I've never felt one before. Good thing you don't know me or I would!

My name is Allyson.
My webpage is http://iluvautumn.typepad.com/life/

I found you through Mormon Mommy Wars, which I found through Would You Feel Better If I Licked Your Face?, which I found through CafeMom. Whew!

I don't know if it's my coolest scar, but my 6" smile is my favorite scar because it gave me 3 children - and we weren't supposed to have any children!!! (Thank goodness for infertility doctors.)

Probably my coolest INJURY was when my brother accidentally hit me in the forehead with a baseball bat when I was about 10 years old, and I got a 1-1/2 inch sized lump from it. It really hurt then, but it's cool to have that fodder on my brother for the rest of his life. Ha, ha!

What, no maple bars??? No crullers??? Guess I'll go with the chocolate one then.

Name; Marie

Webpage; www.memarielane.blogspot.com

How I found you; Don't remember honestly, I think I linked to you from someone's blogroll.

Coolest scar; got attacked by a chow-chow when I was 20 and there's still a hole in my thigh and a white line just about my eye.

My name is Actorgirl

My blog resides at:
http://actorgirl66.blogspot.com/

NO idea how I found you.... I just kept clicking and ended up here! LOVE your blog! :)

My coolest scar I got when I was in high school (I THINK it's the only one I have, too!), and was a manager at a Baskin-Robbins. We had a huge 'exacto knife' type thingy to cut down the big containers of ice cream as they were used up or to slice them to make cakes from. Anyway, my thumb got pushed into the blade, so I now have about an inch-long scar as a permanent reminder!
